Recently, there have been a lot of new eyeshadow palettes flowing out into the market. And quite a few of them are really attractive! Colours are really lovely.
Take a look at some of the palettes which I love. And you may consider buying them at the local beauty hall or online shops.
Estee Lauder Surreal Violet Eyeshadow Palette – S$68
If you are looking for smokey purple eye look. This is palette is for you. It includes five shades: pink-lilac with soft sheen; dusty gray with mauve in a matte finish; shimmery white; darkened eggplant with a matte finish; and a sparkly cool-toned purple. It’s well-designed to create both lighter purple-based looks as well as smokier looks. The inclusion of both matte, satin, and frost finishes allows for the creation of looks with depth. But it works for asian as we can’t go with strong purple eye look.. Two sets of colours to choose from! The other set is Blue dahlia.
Guerlain 2 Place Vendome Eyeshadow Palette – USD 84
I love the casing.. So charming and unique.. Like a mini music box.. But the price, wow.. really high. The case is housed in a beautiful compact with a filigree pattern on the cover that’s actually see-through. Pretty similar to Estee Lauder Blue Dahlia.
This is a rather cool-toned palette, which would make it most suitable for those who lean cool, but it’s still wearable on warmer skin tones, since they’re closer to neutral than very cool. There is a pale white-beige with a satin finish, muted gray-brown with a satin finish, medium-dark ocean blue with soft sheen, antique gold with a hint of taupe base and frosted shimmer, cool-toned charcoal brown with a semi-matte finish, and darkened purple-black with flecks of violet shimmer over a semi-matte color base. Go try it if you like it!
Stila’s Backstage Eyeshadow Palette – USD 28
The texture is incredibly soft and pigmented, and almost creamy despite being a pressed, powder eyeshadow. Six eyeshadows: Chiffon (peach), Flamingo (purple), Pacific (blue), Luster (plum), Poetic (mauve), Coal (teal)!
If you like strong and trendy makeup, go for this. Nice combo.
NYX Purple Smokey Look Kit – USD 11..
is an eye and lip palette; 9 Eyeshadows & 2 lip colours: a smoked, blackened purple with violet sheen; brightened navy blue with a subtle sheen; softened fuchsia lilac with a satin sheen; light fuchsia pink with satin sheen; gray-tinged brown with cool undertones; pinked brown with sheen; softened violet with sheen; red-toned, medium purple with violet shimmer-sheen; and dusty brown. The lip shades included a pinky nude cream and a metallic bronze. The palette itself is housed in a square black palette, so it manages to look sleek and compact, and it would work really well for traveling. If you are looking for a something convenient, go for this. It works well.
NYX Bronze Smokey Look Kit – USD 11
You may love this palette. Same as the previous set. However, if you prefer a more subtle and natural look, this is the one for you.. Its a brown series..with some gold shimmer to go along. That gives you a glam look!
Urban Decay Book of shadow vol.3 – USD 54
I love this palette. I’m a fan of UD. They always provide more varieties or colours in a simple palette.. You can mix and blend any colours! 16 eyeshadows that go way beyond neutrals and brights!
My top fav! Do apply UD eyeshadow primer to keep the eyeshadows looking vibrant! I reckon it will cost over S$ 80 here.

I love this look. So sexy. The eyes are really brighten up! Its a smokey eyes look but not too strong! It creates the look with depth. It enhances the beautiful eyes!
